11:00 - 11:45 am | Ernesto
I create original songs about veganism and animal rights in English and in Spanish because I believe music has the power to heal, unite, and inspire us to take action for animals. My originals like “Liberation” (https://youtu.be/8NMttalCsjA) and “The Storm” (https://youtu.be/cPDIzmrQZpU) have been used in activist demonstrations around the world and for that I am grateful. My mission is to continue spreading the vegan word and inspiring more activism through my songwriting. Thank you for being a part of my journey.
12:00 - 12:45 PM | Dawn-Marie Hamilton
I'm a singer-songwriter and a teaching artist. I'm also the world's tallest five-year-old! I make music for kids because I love their honesty, their unique perspective, and their limitless capacity for joy! I have also appropriated some of my best dance moves from them!
I perform in and around Rogers Park, a diverse and artsy neighborhood on the far north side of Chicago.
